Check out these Pine wallpaper images we made for you!
This week we’re featuring Pine, Pinus spp.
This includes all the Pines – White, Red, Yellow, Lodge-pole, Piñon… If you have Pines with long, thin, springy needles in bundles of two, three, or five, then you’ve found what you’re looking for!
Pine is so important for first aid – it makes my absolute favorite anti-septic and vulnerary salve. It’s important for immune and respiratory health too: those volatile oils help fight infection in the respiratory tract. But for me, Pine is also an invaluable emotional support herb.
When i’m feeling weighed down, burdened by worry or grief or exhaustion, when i’m discouraged or disheartened, Pine is a uplifting in a deep way. It’s not bubbly, it doesn’t make me “perky”: more that it strengthens my spine, strengthens my resolve, my fortitude, my resilience.
